I loved how large and spacious the room was. The hotel was exactly as advertised in their photos. My room had a lovely view and I was extremely impressed with the Smeg refrigerator and kettle. It definitely added another level of luxury to my stay. The bathroom was also really clean and aesthetically pleasing. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was also lovely — if you are there early enough, you can get some avocados. On my first day, I went for breakfast at 9am and they didn’t have any. But the next day I went at 8am, and there was a glorious bowl of halved avocados, seasoned with lemon juice and black pepper, which I though was an extremely thoughtful touch. You can imagine that I woke early from then onwards for the breakfast, just for the avocados! I also had dinner at the hotel. I had langoustines for my appetiser and a lamb shank for my main. Unfortunately the langoustines were either not fresh or prepared the wrong way — all the meat was mushy like a super ripe banana, and I had trouble using a fork to pick the flesh out. As a langoustine lover myself, the dish was sorely disappointing. The sauce was incredible though. On the other hand, the lamb shank was absolutely delicious, and they come with a serving of roast potstoes too. I also had some mocktails. I loved every drink I had. The bar tender was also really nice as to make my drink more tangy when I said I preferred my drinks to be less sweet. I would definitely go for the drinks again any day.

All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, nice breakfast available from 0600 to help with a few early starts. Overall, nice hotel in a good location - about 20-30 minute mainly downhill walk into the centre of Torshavn - obviously then uphill on the way back, but not too bad and parking fairly easy to find in the town if needed (looked like a local bus stop nearby as well but didn't use it) - 5 minutes walk from the football stadium if that's your thing, plenty of free parking at the hotel. Supermarket just down the end of the road. A good base for exploring the Faroe Islands, would stay here again

This hotel is excellent. Reception was friendly and efficient. We had a room on the top floor with a view to the sea. We enjoyed the happy hour with a glass of wine free for Hilton Club members. The evening meals available in the bar area were reasonably priced and excellent. The bar staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choice. The rooms were comfortable although I prefer a walled bathroom, rather than glass door shower and toilet cubicles with the hand basin in the main entry. There was no privacy or sound insulation. Stupid design really.

The breakfast was delicious and had a great choice of options, including gluten-free choices. The restaurant for dinner was fabulous with a delicious choice of meals. Loved trying some of the local cuisine. The staff were lovely and very helpful loved the gift shop with the choice of lovely local crafts. Staff were very helpful in calling us cabs and giving us advice where to find particular places interested in visiting.

Location is fine as it is just off a main road, but it is a little way from the town centre although right next to the wonderful football stadium. The room was lovely and clean and there was plenty of choice for breakfast with everything stocked and fresh. The staff were brilliant. Every one of them, particularly the two lovely receptionists who were on duty the days of the 2nd Evior concert. Lovely people.
